LabVIEW and Automation Users Group Meeting

The LabVIEW and Automation Users Group Meeting is a monthly open door event for new users, developers, and consultants to attend. It offers informative presentations, opportunities to network, and often times the chance to work hands-on with LabVIEW. The meeting is free to attend, includes dinner, and is generally scheduled the last Thursday of each month.

LabVIEW is a graphical language designed for scientist and engineers. LabVIEW was first released in 1986 as a language designed for instrument control specifically for the IEEE-488 communications standard. Over the years support for Internet, multi-threaded programming, distributed processing, project management, and thousands of instrument drivers have been added. Today LabVIEW is the leading language for scientists and engineers to perform Measurement, Automation, and Test Applications

Local National Instruments Team

Charlie Knapp, Senior District Sales Manager - Charlie completed an MSEE at Columbia University, and spent eight years at AlliedSignal (now Honeywell) in Morristown, NJ prior to working for National Instruments. He has been with National Instruments eight years helping customers find solutions using National Instruments gear.

Zach Olson, Field Sales Engineer - Zach Olson graduated with a masters in Mechanical Engineering in 2001 from the University of Utah focusing on feedback control and mechatronics. He has been with National Instruments for 4 years starting in Applications Engineering and now serving as the Field Sales Engineer for Orange County.
